Hiding feature layers within Web AppBuilder that come from an ArcGIS Online map from a feature service on our server.

I have an ArcGIS service map service containing feature classes. I use the service for an ArcGIS Mobile application and also using within ArcGIS online for creating a web mapping service through the new Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS. My question is that there are 3 feature classes that I don't want to show up within the Web AppBuilder application. I don't see any way to hide those. I can hide them in the legend but not in the layer list. Is the only way around this is to create another map service without those 3 layers? It would be nice to be able to hide those in the Web AppBuilder so we don't have to have multiple similar map services running.
