Configure the NMEA Connector to Poll an IP

Going over the NMEA connector tutorial I understand how to receive the NMEA string but it looks like you can also get a GPS string if it is being published to an IP. I am not sure how to configure the connector to do this. I have NMEA raw text being pushed to an IP and a port which my server has to get.
