Polyline shape

I am editing polylines and I would like to know if it is possible to create curved line from zigzag line. For more information look at picture.

Do be aware that the Smooth tool doesn't work if you have a basic license and that shapefiles will only approximate the curve you desire since they don't support Bezier curves
