arcgis pro 2.0.1 crashes added feature class to project

Question

I am trying to add a new feature class to my project geodatabase.  The feature will only be used in this project, so I don't want to create it in a file geodatabase shared with other projects.  Whenever I try, the pane for create feature class loads, then the entire program crashes.

Thank you Dan.  I finally had to do just what you suggested, starting a new project and adding 1 feature at a time until I determined what other layer was causing the problem.  That still begs the question of why a layer that is sourced from a different database is creating a conflict that crashes Pro, but I'll leave that to another day and discussion.

In order to rule things out

* load the file by itself in a new empty project.... result?
* load a different unrelated file to your existing project .... result?

If the first fails, then there is something wrong with the file.

If the second passes, then there is something wrong with your original file.
