zoom in and zoom out function with fingures in arcgis for flex viewer application

i am not able to zoom in and zoom out with fingures in arcgis for flex viewer application. when i select zoom tool then i can zoom in and zoom out. but my requirement is with out navigation panel only with fingures i want to zoom in and zoom out in touch screens. the same application was working in silverlight but it is not working in flex viewer.
