Reconcile Error: Invalid Database Name

"The version could not be reconciled. Invalid database name." Has anyone come across this error before, when reconciling versions?

The SQL geodatabase is used in a Collector app, the maps are not going offline, and the versions are syncing changes back to default successfully.
