How to save slides in a scene

I want to produce a presentation using 3D views of 3D topography. If I create a presentation I seem unable to tilt the virtual camera. If I create 'slides' in a 'scene' I cannot find out how to save the slides. The online help says there is a save button at the bottom of the content panel but I don't see it. Is this a permissions problem? It seems wierd I can create a presentation and save it but not save slides from a scene.

Thanks for any help.
