ESRI Story Maps Zoom In/Out with Mouse

Hi,

I just started using the new Story Maps and I noticed in the maps that are added you now have to click on the 'plus'/'minus' to zoom in and out compared to the classic that allow you to use the mouse for this functionality. Having to use the plus/minus symbols is cumbersome. Will this functionality be brought forward?
