ArcPad message box

Hello,

I have created a .apm file for ArcPad to collect weed data in the field. I want the user to start the Tracklog before he/she starts mapping. I coded the it for the event when the map opens. The problem is this works well for ArcPad on the computer but gives me an error "permission denied" on the JUNO SB handheld device. Does anyone have any suggestions? ideas??
