Geoprocessor.getResultImageLayer not using proxy

I'm using the Geoprocessor.getResultImageLayer() method on a site that is using the Resource Proxy for this URL. The GP Task uses the Proxy.ashx for the submitJob and checking the status of the job but when it calls getResultImageLayer to get the result it does not use the Proxy.ashx. For this reason I am unable to use a secured service. Any ideas?
