Link between an excel spreadsheet and a feature map service in a web map

I'm want to create a link between a table and features in a web map such that an update in the table will automatically update the corresponding feature in the web map. i created a relationship class which i published with the feature but i noticed that the relationship table cannot be edited. What is the best way of doing this. I am not good at scripting.
