Link to specific item in Countdown Story map

Question

Does anybody know if it is possible to link to a specific item via url in a Counddown story map application?  I'd like to be able to link the application with a url like http://www.tucsonaz.gov/countdown/?item=3 and the site will open up and automatically select and zoom the third item in the list.

Unfortunately, this is not yet built into the Countdown template. You would have to extend the JavaScript to make this work.
