I am trying to export maps to use in Avenza and cannot get them to come up clearly. I have adjusted the dpi but not sure what I need to do.

I am trying to export maps to use in firefighting and cannot get them to show clearly in Avenza. I have other maps that I have gotten elsewhere that look fine but not the PDF's I am exporting. I have increased the DPI but it didn't change the pixels in avenza at all.
