Get Terrain or Elevation

Question

Hello, is there a way to get the terrain features or elevation of a point or the surrounding area? I am working on an application that is used offline, so I will not be able access the internet to get data.

Are there map layers that can be used to get the terrain or elevation?

You can use DTED data in the RasterLayer​ and FileRasterSource. However, we have not exposed the ability to query it locally as yet.

Another option I am pursuing is to use dted data within my map or application. Has anyone ever used dted data either when making a map in ArcMap Desktop or used dted data in an Android application?
