Unable to remove image service from basemap. "Move from Basemap" is grayed out.

I have a webmap that has an image service in the contents. I have moved the image service to the basemap. Now I want to remove that service from the map completely. Both the Remove and Move from Basemap options are grayed out. Any suggestions how to remove this service from my map?
