Has anyone worked with leader lines?

I am new to coding with the ArcGIS API but have been using ESRI products for a very long time so I understand the workflows well. I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to use graphics (I'm assuming) to create leader lines from points to their corresponding labels. I've look everywhere and the only thing I've found are leader lines in 3D. Does anyone have an idea of where to start with this? I would appreciate any help you might have. Thank you.
