Change Symbology on SMP Traffic?

Question

Streetmap Premium.

I want to change the symbology from the default traffic, to

* make the line thickness thinner and remove the casings from the symbols
* Leverage the hierarchy to display highways thicker than minor roads
* keep the traffic classification, but perhaps slightly change colours.

The symbology tab is disabled when this ND Layer is selected.

I cant spot any settings under the ND that might change this, nor a layer file in the GDB folder that it might be using.

Can someone point me in the right direction

Hi Simon. Unfortunately, Pro doesn't yet have any way to change any sort of network dataset symbology.  It's something we're currently researching, though, so we're willing to hear your needs and ideas (and the same for anyone else reading this).
