Hi,
When using the printwidget in the ArcGIS API I would like to add a rectangle to my map which shows which area of the map that will be included in the actual exported document (pdf). In other words a kind of print preview. This would be a great enhancement to the current print widget as it would allow users to actually see what part of the map that will be included in the print. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I would go about implementing this functionality? Anyone who has done something similar?
I would also like to implement this type of functionality.
