Will ArcGIS Server Site continue to work if any one of the machine goes down?

Hello Everyone, I have a 2 machine (App1 and App2) ArcGIS Server 10.3 site installed in a Default cluster configuration. App1 is hosting the Server Site and App2 is joined to the Server Site. I know that if App2 machine goes down, then also the Server site will continue to work. What will happen if App1 machine goes down? Will my entire Server site go down since App1 is hosting the Server Site?

There is no concept of  a "primary" and "secondary" machine for Server.  If App1 goes down, App2 continues to function normally, (as long as App1 doesn't have the config-store and directories stored on it).
