I'm running into situations where we have lots of vector data that is perfect for displaying with vector tiles but it still needs to be queried. I'm currently asking folks to display their vector tile and use a multi-scale map service with no symbology for querying. So far it's been successful but I haven't been able to test the speed. I'm not sure if this is the best approach. Any thoughts?
