Change mix user and role management option to Users and roles from an existing enterprise system ...

Hi,

I have my ArcGIS for server 10.2.2 and this is set to use "Users from an existing enterprise system (LDAP or Windows Domain) and roles from ArcGIS Server's built-in store" I want to manage my user now all from Windows Domain Option. If I change this option in configuring setting in my server to "Users and roles from an existing enterprise system (LDAP or Windows Domain)" does it is transparent for the server? does it automatically recognize the roles? what are the steps to do this? do I need fist to have my domain roles with the exact same name of the one I had created on my server?
