I need an advise about the GPS device and ArcGIS map

I'm gonna start doing my project about tracking the vehicle and display on iPhone application. So I need an advise about GPS receiver or GPS device that is going to setup on the vehicle including it can be linked to ArcGIS map.

Can you guys suggest me the model or any band I have no idea about GPS device.

Ps.Sorry if I make a misunderstanding on the article because i am not a native speaker.
