Collector Related Table Automically Adds Blank Records

I have a Collector app which consumes a feature service that was created in Survey123. It has a related table built using the repeat type in Survey123. My issue is that when a user opens up the map in Collector and hits the "New" record for the related table it appears to create a blank record in the data. How can I prevent this?
