Meet Survey123 Mobile, our new field data collection app, and Survey123 Studio, our modern desktop experience for form authoring. Built on the latest ArcGIS technology, these new apps deliver improved performance, enhanced mapping, and a streamlined, more intuitive user experience. First production releases are planned for July, but you can start exploring them today.

Introducing Survey123 Mobile and Survey123 Studio
These next-generation apps represent an evolution of Survey123—designed to work seamlessly alongside your existing workflows. You can run the current and new apps side by side, continue using the same XLSForm specification, and transition at your own pace. While the initial release will not yet include full feature parity with the current apps, we’ll deliver regular quarterly updates to expand capabilities and close that gap. The beta focuses on the core functionality used across most workflows, along with key enhancements.
Survey123 Mobile and Studio introduce a modern, streamlined experience with powerful new capabilities to help you work more efficiently. A new tabular view for repeats provides a more flexible and intuitive way to work with related records, making it easier to review, edit, and enter data. We are also bringing QuickCapture projects to Survey123 for a unified experience, allowing you to move seamlessly between structured surveys and rapid, big-button data capture within a single app. Combined with improved mapping and geometry tools, these enhancements are designed to reduce friction and make data collection faster and more efficient in the field.
