Story Map Disappeared

Hello,

This morning I was working on a story map for an assignment that I've been working on all week. The story was published and shared to both my organization and my group but was still a work in progress. 

I was on my personal computer to publish a web map from ArcGIS Pro 3.6 and made one change to the Story Map. The Story Map saved, I logged out of my account and shut down the computer.

About 10 minutes later I logged in to my Esri account on my work computer to continue working on the Story Map and it is no longer in my content. I can see the dashboard that I started for this project and the web map I published earlier, but the story map is gone. 

I've confirmed that:

• I didn't accidentally create it under a different account
• It is not in the recycle bin
• It doesn't appear when searching through the entire oganization content either

I have a link that I shared to our instructor that used to open the Story but now says that the story doesn't exist. 

Is there any way to recover the Story Map?

Does anyone else have access to your content that might have deleted it? This is probably not the cause but doesn't hurt; have you made sure that all content is shared to Everyone, esp in the newly updated webmap you mentioned? Is it also gone from your list of stories at storymaps.arcgis.com? Have you tried looking for it in ArcGIS Assistant? If it's there you can recover the json and use that to make another StoryMap. If it's not there, this sounds like something I'd get tech support involved in. Maybe they can track it down with the Item ID. I have had several expensive and nerve-wracking snafus with StoryMaps breaking and am now in the habit of routinely downloading the json as a backup.
