Experience builder allows users to have a draft and a published version. Where user can edit the draft version and not affect the live application. Adding a view so users can preview changes before overwriting the published version will be a great addition to prevent accidental changes from being published. Adding an additional layer of protection for applications available for public use.
If you switch to live view within the editor it should allow you to do what your asking.
