Wind Turbine Detection Model Returns No Results in ArcGIS Pro 3.6

Hello,

I am currently experimenting with the pretrained deep learning model Wind Turbine Detection in ArcGIS Pro.

In the past, the model was able to successfully detect several wind turbines using the same (or similar) imagery. However, since the beginning of this month, I am no longer getting any results at all. The tool runs without any error messages, but the output feature class contains 0 detections.

What I have already tried:

• Tested different imagery (including Esri sample data, ~0.6 m resolution)

• Adjusted parameters such as confidence threshold and padding

• Ran the tool on both CPU and GPU

• Reinstalled ArcGIS Pro and the Deep Learning Libraries

• Verified that other pretrained models are working correctly

So far, nothing has helped.

My questions:

• Is there a known issue with the Wind Turbine Detection model in newer ArcGIS Pro versions?

• Could this be related to specific parameters that must be set?

• Has anyone experienced similar behavior recently?

Do you have the latest deep learning package for wind turbine detection?

This page lists the initial release date in March 2022 as the only release note, but the actual page to download the package shows it was updated on March 5, 2026.
