My students are currently working on a StoryMap in groups up to 4 people. I created groups and gave them the authorization to work together on their map. They followed the instructions not to work on one element at a time. Unfortunately elements they already created often disappear when they open the program again or elements somebody else created dont´t appear. Any ideas what could be the problem?
@J_Immetsberger - I'm sorry your students are running into an issue collaborating on their StoryMap. Just to clarify, the documentation indicates that multiple people should not work on the same ArcGIS StoryMaps item at the same time. From your message it sounds like perhaps your understanding is that they shouldn't work on the same element within a story at the same time?
However, the story elements will not simply disappear when multiple people work on a story at the same time. Each author will see a warning if someone else is working on the same item. Please let us know if your students are not seeing these warnings.
