Near Me Widget for Only Visible Layers

I am looking to create a custom widget, or learn of built-in functions to get a working Near Me widget that functions similar to how the Web AppBuilder version did.  Specifically, to only perform the analysis on layers that are visible on the map.

Does anyone have any tips or leads?  Any help is appreciated.

In the Map Widget, create an Extent Changes > Data > Filter Data Records Action. You may want to make a Dataview for this and not use the Default Dataview. Then, set the Dataview in Near Me to the filtered Dataview. This should prevent Near Me from finding any results outside the map area.
