It has been a while since I have looked at Network Analyst / Network Dataset as the last time was in ArcMap. I have a Network Dataset configured and have done some test routing. Is there a way in the ribbon to batch clear existing stops/routes or is it a process of deleting features via the editing tools like you would for other features?
can't test now, but memory says it is a table of contents thing, right-click on the stops and delete
No, there's no batch process to reset the entire layer. You have to delete all the rows using the editing tools or a geoprocessing tool. Alternatively, you could just create a new network analysis layer, which might be faster. It depends on whether you want to retain all your analysis settings.
Thank you @MelindaMorang for the quick response!
If you would like to retain all your analysis settings, you can right click the route layer in the TOC and choose duplicate to create a copy of the network analyst layer and data. But you would still have to manually delete the features, via edit or the truncate GP tool.
