Connect published to Arc Online will not allow multiple submissions

Hello,

I am not sure if it is a BUG or something else. I published a survey through Survey123 Connect on to ArcGIS online. I have the latest version of Connect, and it will not allow multiple submissions under the Survey123 web. I tried republishing and it still will not open up multiple submissions.

I think it could be related to your use of mode=edit.  You're talking about adding new records, but mode=edit appears to only allow editing of existing records in the web form. Check out The Basics section of the link below.

You might need to create 2 links, one for editing an existing record and one for creating new records.  Keep in mind if you are creating a link to existing records and there are multiple records for a feature (let's say these are inspection records of a power pole) you will need to create an individual link for each existing record.  You'd need to use arcade, or some other language to iterate through a list of globalids for the existing records and create a list of links to open each existing record as needed.

So if I am understanding correctly, everything is working other than the ability to submit edits for an existing record? If that is the case, there are two possible settings you can configure.

This first, and easiest, setting is cut off in your screen shots above. It is in Connect on the Options tab:

The second is buried in Portal (I'd recommend using Connect before trying this):

* Go to your Portal
* Go to the Content tab and locate the "Survey-" folder with your survey
* Go to the "Feature layer (hosted)" file
* Go to the settings page and scroll to the bottom of the page
* These are the security/permissions settings for that survey. In your case, you are likely looking for the "Update" setting.

Also, as I mentioned above, you should heed the warning in Connect and disable either the "Inbox" or the "Sent" folder (if not done so already).

I made a custom URL to reopen the survey to add a record. I used mode=edit. When the survey opened it will not allow me to submit a record. When is trying to figure out the issue, all I could see is that Survey123 was not allowing this survey to have multiple submissions of a record. I tried republishing and changing the privileges and it still will not allow me to submit a new record
