Need to know more about spatial data analysis role

Hello All,

Warm  greetings to all members .I am new joiner to this community . Would like to know more about spatial data analysis . I have keen interest in space science and wanted to shift my career role to spatial data analyst role for space science data analysis . I have 15 years of experience in Oracle ,Postgres Database administration .I would like to hear from all of the members to advise me right path to shift my career to a new dimension.

Hello  Abhilash, based on the post, you are going in the Right direction, because you have a background in

Orical program open source will be a smooth transition ( spatial ) is a good start point let me : put in simple term example: SpaceX. They will be on MARS  and it is a Huge place, so they need to know where they at to setting up Equiments  / and they need some one to Guide them

In terms of space science, what would you like to learn about or experiment with? From your experience it sounds like you can pretty easily horizontally move from DBA to more of a spatial data analyst position, but if you're interested in more like Aerospace and space science like GIS on the Moon, Mars, or other space topic, then Spatial Analysis may be something different than you're looking for.

I'm pretty versed in the outer space realm, so if that's what you're interested in, let me know and I can see if I can point you in the right direction!
