ArcGIS Monitor vs SOEs

Question

We have a map service with an SOE (Server Object Extension) enabled. This service is exclusively accessed through the SOE and is one of the most frequently used services in our ArcGIS Enterprise environment.

However, ArcGIS Monitor 2024.0 does not appear to capture any activity for this service, as if it is not being used. Is there a way to configure Monitor to track this service and alert us when it is not functioning as expected?

Unsure without getting more information about the host, ArcGIS Enterprise release version, etc. Are you seeing this behavior consistently? Is there a certain time period when this happens? Are there any processes running on the host (e.g., maybe an automated security scan) that might interfere with the AM Agent?

Thanks @DerekLaw We had a bigger issue. Monitor was to not monitoring any service. We upgraded to 2025.1 and now it's working as expetcted.

This is difficult to assess, as it will depend on what the SOE does. A guess is that it does something which prevents data being properly written to the ArcGIS Server usage reports - which is partly where ArcGIS Monitor gets some metrics.
