Force alias names for attribute table config

Hi all,

I'm working in the ArcGIS Web AppBuilder. I would like to force the configured alias field names to be used in the attribute table of a layer. I know that I can change these in "Configure attribute table" settings but why should I have to define the aliases again in here when they already exist in the source data. I know that the web app can see the defined aliases because it shows them when I drop down the "Sort field". Any ideas
