Google Drive Blocked on ArcGIS Online (Education account)

Question

I am a teacher at a high school and myself and students can no longer "Add layer from file" from Google Drive. This has worked in the past. The error we get is below. I have reached out to my school boards systmes engineer about it and says it's something on ESRIs side. I know there are alternatives to adding files, but I find using google drive to add files is easy.

Thanks for the response. I have been downloading the file to the devices and uploading it that way.

This definitely appears to be some type of bug or deprecation of service, you may need to reach out to Esri Support so they can investigate on the back-end of things. You mentioned this is happening everywhere, have you tried downloading the file and then uploading? For the time being a work-around may be the best approach until Esri gets back with you!
