Hi all-
I have students who are using Storymap Briefings to create a portfolio of their work. For some of the assignments they have created an ArcGIS Online map and put that on a Briefing slide. When published, there is an option to expand the map and view it outside the briefing, but I can't figure out a way to get it to fully open in a new tab inside map viewer so that I can look at the map in more detail (such as for layers that are not visible, or easily get to the item details page). I've tried adding a second panel and adding a link to the map there, but again, it just opens a larger map view, not opening the map in map viewer.
I thought I used to be able to do this....didn't there used to be an option to open in a new tab as there still is with embedded content such as apps? Is there any work around for this, other than my having to go back to the actual group where they have shared all their work and open the map directly? If that's the case, I'll submit this as an "idea" but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something first. @OwenGeo do you know?
