dashboard indicator filter to extent

I have a dashboard with several indicators and I'd like to filter them to only show what is visible in the map extent.

How do I do this?

Open up the properties of your map in the dashboard. Go to Map Actions, click on the Filter drop down (under when map extent changes), and then toggle the switch next to your indicator.
