Hi,
We want to purchase two ArcGIS Enterprise licences for my company, one for production and one for testing. But I still have a question on the server configuration, that is the best for my use case:
- I am mostly publishing 3D SLPK scences with a Script. The SLPKs are published overnight via my script. There's only one data producer. As for data access, it's difficult to estimate, but it's very unlikely that more than 10 users will be accessing the system simultaneously. Additionally, 2D geodatasets will be displayed on the platform, and possibly LIDAR data (this still needs to be confirmed).
The server configuration that we are planing is the following:
Production Server:
- ArcGIS Server: 4 vCPU, 32 GB RAM, 50 GB available disk space. (Is 32 GB sufficient, or would it be better to go directly with 64 GB?)
- ArcGIS Portal: 4 vCPU, 16 GB RAM (could we reduce this to 2 vCPU? How much disk space is required?), and is it possible to install ArcGIS Monitor on this machine as well?
- Data Store: 4 vCPU, 16 GB RAM, with disk space to be determined based on our data.
Test Server:
Does someone has experience with publishing SLPK's on ArcGIS Enterprise and knows if this configuration is good for my use case.
Best regards
Eric
