Custom Print Layout Roadmap - Credit Usage and User Types

Question

I followed this blog post to configure custom templates for printing in Map Viewer and Instant Apps: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/print-from-layout-items/. This feature is currently only available in beta, and will consume credits once out of beta. It is also only available for Professional and Professional Plus user types.

I'm wondering if there is any more information about how many credits this will consume? Also if there is a roadmap/consideration for support in Experience Builder and with other user types besides Professional and Professional Plus.

Printing a custom layout template is a huge ask within my company. I don't want to make any promises/take the steps towards development if a) no one in my organization can use it and b) it will drain our credits.

@ZaraMatheson Do you have any information regarding the roadmap for this feature, or its plan to exit the Beta status?  
I'm in the same spot as @KristinThorpe1 in that I have use cases for custom print layouts, but I don't want to develop anything that my staff will rely on if the functionality may change, or if they can't even use it due to licensing.  Thanks for anything you can share!

I didn’t bother looking, since it isn’t available to the Viewer role. Printing is a basic feature for any mapping application and shouldn’t be limited to Professional users.

Agreed @KristinThorpe1 , I'm the GIS Specialist in our organisation with the majority of our users "Viewers" of the apps I create - sounds very similar to your structure. Being able to produce a branded title block is a big win - but not worth looking at if it's not available for all user types. I can deal with the credit usage (depending on the extremity I guess) but if I, as a professional + user type, needed to create a title block plan i'd use Pro...the others in my organisation don't have that ability.
