I need to clearly show my end users, a simple dot will do, a result of geocoding search. "Pan to" trigger/action is not enough.

How to mark a location of a geocoding search result on the map?

Solved. Map viewer "Search tool" should be used instead of "Search" widget configured with ArcGIS Online Geocoding service..
