Hi All,
I am struggling with how to select something as a default image for an image widget when that is tied to a feature class. Is there a way to set a specific default image before a feature is selected? The generic default looks like a link is broken and is not intuitive that a user should click features to display images attached to them.
Thanks,
You can add a data cell for the empty selection, say ID=N, then upload the desired image as its attachment. In this settings, try filter using ID=N, then you will see the attached default image displayed with no selection made.
Did you ever figure this out? I am having the same problem. The image and text are blank unless a feature is selected. I want a default image/text to show instead when nothing is selected.
Is there a way to take a static image and upload it to serve as the 'empty image' as you mention? Currently trying to figure that out and I can't seem to do it
Hi @ColeDevine, have you tried this option? In the data source setting panel, there is an option "view for selection" so you can point to a specific feature's attachment (with a filtering property to control inside the gear icon if checked), if what you want to show is from a certain feature of your data.
If no filters are configured, it will be the first feature by default.
Or is it a static image you want to upload to serve as the 'empty image'?
