Generate Renderer service does not return minClassValue for class breaks

I am using the generate renderer service to generate a class breaks renderer for a dynamic layer. The service returns a classBreakInfos array with the number of classes I requested. Each class has a maxClassValue, but no minClassValue is returned. This makes it difficult to identify the class value range, and it is difficult to parse the minimum value from the label property. Is there a reason that the minClassValues are not returned?
