Add a layer with symbology in ArcGIS Pro

Question

Hello everyone, I have a symbology layer that I used in ArcMap to set the symbology to the slope rasters, and I want to use the same symbology layer for the rasters in ArcGIS Pro 3.2.

It recognizes the file, but when I load it and click RUN, it gives me an error:

I am trying to come up with a workaround for you. Are you able to publish your data to ArcGIS Online from ArcMap and consume the hosted service from ArcGIS Pro? This way, you should be able to export a .lyrx file in Pro directly.

I saved the MXD project (the raster with its symbology and the SHP), and imported it into arcGIS Pro as a map and as a layout, but all the information appears except the raster with the symbology. I mean it didn't work for me.

Likewise, I exported the symbology layer to the COLORMAP extension (CLR), but I was surprised that when I upload it in the Pro, it does not keep the colors established for the raster, it modifies them, and only maintains the categorization.

Hi @JairoCordero ,

The ArcGIS Pro application can read legacy . lyr file types, but it can only save to . lyrx file types. As a workaround, I would try importing your ArcMap's MXD into ArcGIS Pro and export a .lyrx file from your raster. And this might be what you are trying yo do in this case.
