Network Data Set Problems

1.Problem in updating the network dataset

When ever the road and turn featureclass is getting updated in the network dataset that time while rebuilding the network dataset Arccatalog hangs,and it works after deleting the SDE table_locks and restarting Arccatalog. Sometimes need to close and open Arccatalog 2 or 3 times.

2.Problem while creating a new Network dataset by deleting the existing network dataset

When we delete the existing network dataset and try to create a new network dataset that time on right click on the dataset and select Network dataset that time Arccatalog hangs and i could not able to create after i restart the server and close and opne the Arccatalog.

I know it's been a while since you posted this question, but have you found a solution to your problem #2? I met the same problem. Could you share some thoughts on this?
