offsetting points from a point with known coordinate

Question

I have a serie of points with known coordinates and another series of points in the same alignments with different offsets from the known points that don`t have coordinates. I want to know how can I calculate the coordinates of these offset points.

Hi Robert,

I would do it if I had the coordinates of the points which I don’t. For example a have the coordinate of point A  and Point B, but I want the coordinate of a point 100 metres from A.  I was thinking to use linear referencing system, but it is not working. Do you have an idea what should I do?

use calculate geometry or use the Add XY Coordinates Tool.
