Show newest entry as a different color in Field Maps

Question

Hello, I am using both QuickCapture and Field Maps to monitor a population through radio telemetry. Each new record in the survey has a point associated with it in the map. Is there a way to code the symbology so that the most recent submitted record would have a different color or symbol than the previous records? And then change to match the other records when another, newer record is submitted?

This would help with locating the most recent submitted record when out in the field as the most recent location needs to be relocated at the start of the next survey.

You could create a view layer and update the definition to only include the latest feature. 
you could then give it a more prominent symbol and have it displaying above the root feature layer. Disable pop-ups on the view layer so when they tap on the view layer it only selects the actual feature below it. Hope that makes sense
