Web App not editable

Question

From my Contents page, I click on the 3 dots on the line of the Web App I would like to edit, and I select "View item details."   On the details page, I can VIEW or I can SHARE.   But there is not button for "Configure App"

The App is configurable, and I would like to select a different Web Map.  Please tell me how I can edit the App.

Thank you very much.  I actually have ESRI working on this because I was unable to complete the task. The base map was okay, but I was unable to update the Web map that the Web App is based on. There is a configuration file for the Web App, which may be precluding the edit process.  Cheers.

Detail: You can change the BaseMap directly in the Basemap Gallery widget, without needing to edit your application

Hi, to edit an application, make sure your user has such privileges, and if the application was shared with you, make sure the group used for this is defined as an editing group.
