It would be nice to have the Public Notification Widget appear as a widget in Experience Builder like it used to Web App Builder.
Agreed, it's super annoying to have to have two different apps. I would really like a mailing labels widget in experience builder.
We also need this for the same reasons stated by other users. We need this in our internal Portal ExB app not a seperate AGO Instant App. It can't be a public facing app on AGO, that's not even legal in Washington State for public agencies to provide lists of individuals. I would have to direct staff to a seperate site from our Portal and create AGO accounts for each of them since the app can't be public. This funcationality existed in WAB for a long time. Please consider.
It's been some time on this discussion. Is Esri going to consider migrating the Public Notification widget to Experience Builder? The functionality of Ex B would really help us out with this.
Yes, we need this. Our users expect everything in one app. I don't like that we are forced to send users into entirely different apps via Instant Apps, instead of that functionality being incorporated into ExB.
This custom widget will allow for Avery mailing label PDF generation.
Mailing Labels Custom Widget
Agreed. We really need this widget to fully migrate away from Web AppBuilder.I get that there's an instant app with the functionality, but it makes no sense why it isn't being included into Experience builder given how the product is being advertised as a "kitchen sink" of sorts. Our userbase is accustomed to being able to use a single application for everything.
I agree, having it in Experience Builder vs the Instant Apps would be highly beneficial. The instant apps are good for some things, but they are frustrating to work with in the all-too-common situation where it meets almost all, but not quite all, of our needs for a particular application. It's even more frustrating when one particular functionality is available only in an Instant App and not Experience Builder. So instead of having the option to drop in the functionality in one app, we're forced to build two apps.
Thanks for the great info, Jeff.
No planned migration of that widget to Experience Builder makes no sense to me, but what do I know? Thanks again.

The Public Notification Widget is on the list of widget with no planned migration to Experience Builder.

ESRI recommends using the Public Notification Instant App. It is also possible to hack a public notification function out of the Near Me or Query widgets in Experience Builder.

Is the Public Notification Widget going to be added to Experience Builder? If not, is there an alternative? I just discovered that WAB will be retired soon and the unavailable PN widget is an issue for migration to Experience Builder. Thanks.
is that export to avery label format?
The Query widget can be configured to do a buffer search/selection and export a csv of selected parcel records.

Hope that helps

This would be a great addition to Experience Builder and it is the one thing preventing us from switching over from Web AppBuilder at this time. The Planning staff do all their property screening and notification mailouts from one application now and it would be a pain to have to use two applications (Experience Builder and Public Notification Instant App) to do this process.
that would be great
