Is there an opportunity to turn a kml layer into a feature layer?

Hello,

I am wondering if I can turn a kml layer into a feature layer. The Data are only available as TIF-Data. I turned these Data with ArcGIS Pro into kml in order to create a layer in AGOL. My actual goal is to publisch this layer in ArcGIS for PowerBI as I have to visualize various data. Does anyone know an opportunity on how to handle this?

Hi @HannesBaade,

In ArcGIS Pro, please use the tool https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/conversion/kml-to-layer.htm#:~:text=Using%20the%20KML%20to%20Layer%20tool%2C%20select%20the%20KML%20layer,operation%20on%20the%20new%20output.

Convert this KML to a file geodatabase feature class (you may need the original Tiff file). Once this is created, publish this, select "Tile" in the sharing menu.

This will create a hosted tile layer. Add this to the map which is to be used in ArcGIS for Powerbi.
