Location Tracking vs ArcGIS Tracker

I want to allow my Field Maps users to view their location. Meaning as they walk or drive a trail (line) will be visible that shows the route they used. I have enabled Location Tracking for Field Maps. I tested it successfully in Field Maps. But what is the difference if I use ArcGIS Tracker? is ArcGIS Tracker a different app than Field Maps?

Tracker will eventually be fully replaced by FieldMaps so that's what I'd suggest you should use.
